The December KPTD edition is being organized by the St. Alberts College, Ernakulam on 7 th December at the college premises together with the KMRL (Kochi Metro) and CPPR. On that day all the students and all staff members of the St. Alberts College shall use only public transport mode to commute to and from the college. The student volunteers from the NSS and NCC units of the college are leading various awareness programs to promote public transport among the students and also the public.
The inaugural ceremony that is scheduled to be held on Friday, 7 th December 2018 at 11.30 am at the Papali Hall of St. Alberts College, Ernakulam, shall be inaugurated by the MD of KMRL, Mr. APM Mohammed Hanish IAS where the keynote address shall be delivered by the Dy Commissioner of Police, Kochi, Dr. J Himendranath IPS. The gathering shall be addressed by Dr. M L Joseph, Principal of St. Alberts College, Dr D Dhanuraj, Chairman of CPPR, Dr V S Sadanandan and Rev Fr. John Christopher Vadassery, Vice-Principals of the College and Dr. J Jameson. The students shall also take an oath to promote the use of public transport.
