The January edition of the Kochi Public Transport Day (KPTD) will be organized by St. Teresa’s College on Monday, January 14, 2019 in the Platinum Jubilee Auditorium in association with Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), the Department of Economics, St. Teresa’s College and Centre of Public Policy Research (CPPR). Students and staff of the college will pledge to use public transport as the means to commute to college.
The Senior DGM of KMPL, Mr. Adarsh Kumar, will be the keynote speaker. The gathering will be addressed by Dr Thushara George, Head of Department and Academic Dean, Arts Section, St. Teresa’s College, Dr Sajimol Augustine M., Principal, St. Teresa’s College, Dr. SR Vinitha CSST St. Teresa’s College and Dr. D Dhanuraj, Chairman of CPPR. The students shall also take an oath to promote the use of public transport. The NSS team of St. Teresa’s College shall be present at the event.
