Kochi Metro will be the country’s first metro rail to integrate the city’s metro rail, road and water transport facilities. Apart from the metro services, it is highly lauded for employing marginalised communities and transgender. With a part of Phase 1 completed, the metro currently has 14 functional stations and will soon cover other parts of the city.
